Help Give My Dad a Befitting Funeral

My Dad, Adeyemi Amoda, was the world to me and my family.  He did everything for me, and everyone he had dealings, to make life better to live for. He drowned us, and those around him, with enormous amounts of care.  His patient teaching, and refusal to give up on me, helped me excel in my studies.  My dad, he wasn't wealthy enough to take us in aeroplanes, but he would take us around London - to get to know places and have fun. My life feels empty now without him. I wish for another opportunity to treat him as good as he treated me - I'm sure there are people who knew him that have this same sentiment, if not regret. My prayer for my dad is that he makes it to heaven as he had a heart of gold; he did a lot for everyone with little or none in return. I pray for him.

For the funeral, I want it to be memorable for him when he looks down from heaven, and for me and everyone involved. He deserves it! The funeral service shouldn’t be a mediocre, but should be a chance for the family members and friends to say our goodbyes in a beautiful celebration, when we all let him know that we indeed appreciated him. So I'm calling on all my dad's friends, family members including well wishers to support us towards the costs of his funeral. While I also ask that you make yourselves available to attend the funeral. His funeral is an opportunity for us to celebrate his life. Join me in this endeavour with your donations, and presence on the day. He was a very nice man, always ready to spread joy to everyone. Help and let's do the same for him.
