 Kole was born on 4 July 2024, weighing a perfect 7lb 8oz.

 He was the final piece of his family's puzzle. After a short stay in NICU because of a few minor complications, his parents looked forward to simply watching their little boy grow up alongside his siblings, Koby and Ayla.

 <strong>They could never have imagined that less than two years later, they would be fighting to save their son's life.</strong>

 When Kole was around six months old, his family noticed he wasn't reaching the same milestones as other babies his age.

<div>
 After many hospital appointments, Kole was diagnosed with BESS and Global Developmental Delay. As he grew, he also began showing signs of severe autism from a very young age.

<div>
 His family had to adjust the future they had imagined for him. But one thing never changed.
</div>

 <br>
</div>
<div>
 <strong>Kole was perfect just as he was.</strong>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Whatever support he needed, his family would be there to give it to him for the rest of his life.
</div>

 Then, on 28 April 2026, when Kole was just 22 months old, everything changed again.
</div>

 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Kole was diagnosed with Sanfilippo syndrome, often described as childhood dementia.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 <strong>His family received the devastating news that, without effective treatment, Kole could begin losing the abilities he has worked so hard to develop.</strong>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 The disease can progressively take away a child's skills as they grow. For Kole's family, that means facing the possibility of watching their little boy lose more and more of himself over time.
</div>

 <br>
</div>
<div>
 But his family is refusing to give up hope.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 There are clinical trials taking place around the world, and they are doing everything possible to find an option for Kole.
</div>

<div>
 They are also closely following a potential treatment currently being reviewed by the FDA. The family understands that the estimated cost of accessing treatment could be at least £2 million.

</div>
<div>
 It's an enormous amount of money.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 <strong>But right now, Kole has something incredibly precious on his side: time.</strong>
</div>

 His diagnosis came while he is still very young, and his family wants to use every moment they have to search for treatment and give Kole every possible chance.
