Help Give Chris His Life Back

Chris is a 33 year old, sibling of 6, persuing a degree in Economics. He also suffers from a severe case of Crohns Disease, and Rheumatoid Arthritis. He has been battling Crohns his entire life with very little relief. Everyday he is in pain. Things that most of us do with little thought, like eating, or walking downstairs are difficult and often unaccomplishable for him.

He recently had a major surgery at the Cleveland Clinic to remove a large section of his small intestine and try to repair 5 damaged areas. The doctors weren't sure he would even make it to the date of the surgery, because of how malnourished and frail the disease had made him. Thankfully he did, but only after recieving intravenous nutrition for a month at a nursing home in preparation

The surgery was not an easy time for Chris, but considered a success. However, without the life saving medicines Chris needs to fight the disease he is returning to the state he was in pre-surgery. Eating has once again become too painful, and his RA is so bad he can't even turn his head. At 33 he has the body of a frail old man.


To halt the progression of his illness he needs a biologic medication called Entyvio. Due to his debilitating condition, and much to his avail, Chris is unable to work or  finish his degree(with only four courses left), making it impossible for him to afford the $1000 a month it costs for medication that would give Chris a chance to really start living again. 

All help will go directly to paying for this life changing medication. With it we hope his Crohns and RA will go into remission, he can finish school, and have a chance at a fulfilling life. 

Everyday without treatment Chris continues to deteriorate. The need for help is urgent. Any contribution or sharing of his story is greatly appreciated.
