This is my sweet grandson. He is so kind, smart, and loving. He has 3 older siblings, and I'm heartbroken that they aren't going to have much of a Christmas. Their mom applied to her local Christmas project and was rejected for being a day too late. They live in a very rural area with spotty (at best) internet and are dependent on others for rides. So, mom applied to other organizations and was denied for not living within the area served, not being a member of certain organizations, and for her kids not being patients at the medical center she goes to that does some donations.
It makes me so sad that at Christmas time there are children that may get up to nothing because of technicalities. Isn't this the season of giving? Christmas is supposed to be for kids. Whatever I'm able to raise with this will go directly to the mom. I will be personally bringing her to shop for her kids. I wish I had the funds to give them a Christmas, but I have a child at home still and a very limited income. I hate asking for help, but I'll do it for my grandson and his siblings. Any amount helps, and if you can't help, please share as much as you can. Thank you so much and Merry Christmas.
