Help Giselle Get to the Next Step in Residency

Dr. Giselle Lynch is a rising PGY-2 in ophthalmology, and completing her preliminary year in Internal Medicine. She is a mom of three small girls, currently residing in New Jersey, and is relocating to New York City this spring to complete the remainder of her residency training.
While residency is a paid position, the challenge of supporting oneself, managing incurred costs of materials and fees during these beginning phases of medicine, and holistically providing for her children in an expensive city, has been challenging. Giselle is a bright, responsible, and way-making individual, who would never ask for help. But, as her friend and sister in this professional journey, I am well-aware of her financial hurdles.
Your donations will help support our colleague with the following:
- relocation costs to move her and her children from NJ to NYC
- ophthalmology tools critical to clinical care: gonioscopes and lenses
- Step 3 scheduling fee and test prep materials
- child care assistance for pick-up and drop-offs for the early mornings and late nights she will be in-hospital
