Help Giovanni get by

Honestly, I hate having to ask for help but things are already getting tough. After some basic bills, rent, and, getting to half a dozen appointments a week, I’m already running out of money. I was told it should take 6-8 weeks before I can be back on my feet and I’m only on week 3 and completely over my predicted expenses.

A car made an illegal turn into me and I took me over the hood. The accident left me with a broken bone in my foot, I have a facial fracture, chipped tooth, and, torn ligaments in my ankle.

Luckily, the drivers car insurance has my medical bills covered but it might be several weeks before I can get a check in my hands for lost wages/living money. My attorney explained that we’re basically dealing with the worst car insurance in all of NYC and they resist and try to deny as much help as possible. Apparently it’s so bad that the law firm does not take cases when dealing with this insurance but I was lucky enough that they took my case anyways.

I’ll be honest, I might be able to make SOME money doing odd jobs but basically I’ll be working while I should be resting just to get by.

I am afraid of over doing it and delaying the healing process due to financial strain. I’m trying to find a balance but the sweet spot in the middle won’t cut it.

I know so many of you have helped me before. Some of you even helped my friend, Luke, through his injury. I can’t thank you enough. Know that every $ will go to groceries, rent, and public transportation. I promise you won’t be seeing a “new bike day” post from me for awhile.
