She was diagnosed in September 2016 with stage IV colon cancer. She has undergone months of chemotherapy treatments. Her most recent scans have shown that the cancer is no longer responding to the chemo.
A second line treatment is an option and one my mother wants to explore. As of right now, what we know is that the copay for these pills is over $3,000 a month. We are also hopeful to get her into a clinical trial scheduled to open in a couple months. The costs of that are still unknown.
Your support, love, thoughts, and prayers are much appreciated throughout this journey. This page was created to help take some of the financial stress off of my parents. The donations will go towards medical bills, copays, and any of my mom's needs the future may bring.
My mother has always been hard-working, generous, and fun. She's a devoted wife, loving sister, mother of three young women, and a grandmother to three sweet grand-babies with more to come. She has been so brave and strong and continues her fight. We all thank you in advance for your love and support. No one fights alone.
