Help Gina Oswalt Offset Medical Bills For Cancer

Hello Everyone, This is Tim, Gina's brother. As a surprise, I made this gofundme page to help her offset her financial bills while she is fighting cancer. She now is in the process of making the 3 hour per day drive for treatments in Columbus. I would like to share a very important message: Cancer shows NO MERCY!!! It has found yet another sibling in our family. This time it’s our only sister Gina — a beautiful, unconditional-loving, strong-willed Mother and Grandmother. Gina has had her surgery and is, now, making the two-hour daily trip for the next couple of months for treatment in Columbus. Even though Gina had paid a high premium for her health insurance, it did not cover any of her procedures. As a result, she had to switch providers, pay more costly premiums and, then, wait for coverage to begin — a sad commentary that there is a grace period for medical coverage for treatment of a disease that exhibits no grace whatsoever. So, if anyone is going through or expecting such a diagnosis, immediately check your policy. This is so crucial, which brings me to something else I’d like to share. Gina had the understanding that all of her visits — including the hospital stays, tests, lab costs — were covered. These expenses, however, were not covered. These were all out-of-pocket expenses that she has endured. I started this GoFundMe campaign to help offset these unexpected expenses, and I’m also doing something at the Fudge Haus, called Gina’s Gift. This way I can make it easy for anyone who would like to support in what ever way they like. I include several ways for you to pass on your love, support and prayers, as prayers have really helped us through these last couple months. Prayers are much appreciated, and they are what has gotten us through some really hard times, so thank you.
