Help Gilmore Get his Groove Back!
Donation protected
Hi, our names are Steve and Margie Campbell. We are fundraising for our 26-year-old nephew Tyler Gilmore. Tyler has always been a fun-loving, funny, and active kid who loves his family, friends, and job. As many of you may know, on March 20, 2022, Tyler was involved in a life-changing solo motorcycle accident while enjoying a morning at the track alongside his father, which they often did and enjoyed together. The accident left Tyler with a severe spinal injury, including a shattered T7 and damage to T6 and T8. The damaged areas have been replaced with titanium bars and artificial vertebra. Although we expect Tyler to be in many months of therapy, his long-term prognosis is still unclear. For now, he's getting used to his new wheels and getting stronger every day.
Tyler continues to progress daily and has the same positive go-get-em attitude that he has carried throughout his life. He is currently in an inpatient rehab facility, where he is learning to live with his current reality. While we don't know what the future holds for Tyler, it will inevitably require additional occupational, physical, and other therapies to regain what he's lost. As you can imagine, severe injuries of this type carry many unanticipated expenses outside of standard insurance coverage limits. All funds raised will offset current or future costs for specialized therapies and equipment recommended by his medical team.
Tyler's new journey now begins, and we would appreciate your words of kindness. Any financial contribution is heartfully appreciated if you can donate to his cause.
With gratitude and love,
Steve and Margie Campbell
