I'm raising money to start the restoration of the 1954 Packard Henney Junior Ambulance that was recently donated to the Museum. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this project.
This gem came from Illinois and is ready to have a great second career as an ambassador for the National EMS Museum, touring the country with artifacts and stories that honor the legacy of paramedics across the country!
This 1954 Packard Henney Junior is one of 124 made in 1954 and is a true rare vehicle in need of saving. In addition, we received a number of artifacts used in the vehicle, making this a unique snap shot of EMS history.
The Museum is looking to raise $10,000 to support the restoration and help secure long term storage for the ambulance when it's not on the road. Every donation helps bring it closer to getting back on the road.
The story of EMS in America is an inspirational story of community response and medical innovation and the Packard ambulance will be a key part of the National EMS Museum's exhibitions moving forward.
