PLEASE ! WE NEED TO GET TOGETHER MONEY TO GET THE SURGICAL PROCEDURE DONE SO GIRL CAN BREATHE!!! Some people would argue that the face — with the smooshed in nose — is the signature characteristic of a Bulldog. Unfortunately, it is the cause of many Bulldog problems. In Bulldogs, the tissue in their nose is crammed into a much smaller space. That means that during breathing, air must squeeze through narrow, tortuous nasal tissues. And on top of that, Bulldogs are prone to small nasal openings anyways. Every breath for a Bulldog can be a struggle this is because of a thing called brachycephalic syndrome. We need to get the BOAS Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome (BOAS) surgery ..we usually recommend anaesthesia to evaluate the back of the throat first. We will also look at the
larynx to see if there is any evidence of laryngeal collapse. We then do surgery to widen the nostrils
and to shorten the soft palate to an anatomically correct position.
