Thank you so much for reading, my name is Dominick Racano and I met Long John last year, albeit virtually, at the first annual All The Laughs Comedy Awards. Throughout the weekend, and in the year since, I've come to appreciate him even more as a comedian and a person. The pillars of All The Laughs are comedy, collaboration, and community. Nothing excites me more than to make strides in making Long John's hard work pay off and his dreams to continue to be realized by coming to America! Enough of me, this is his story ...

Hi. My name is Learnmore Mwanyenyeka known as Long John the Comedian. I'm a multi Award Winning Zimbabwean Comedian.

I've been doing stand up comedy for more than 10 years around Africa. I have performed with some of the biggest names in the industry and one of my biggest dream has been to bring my comedy to the USA. I believe my comedy will not only bring a new dimension to American comedy circuit but also open new doors for me.

In May 2021 I took part in the Steel City AF Comedy competition. Through a rigorous interview and selection process I managed to win a grant with the Steel City Arts Foundation in Pittsburgh. This is an organisation that supports comedians/ artists all around the globe by offering training and performance opportunities.

As part of the benefits of being accorded this chance, Steel City AF will providing accommodation and living expenses. However, Steel City AF will not be covering my traveling and visa expenses and this is where I need your help.
