Help get London Volleyball team to Cornacchia World Cup

My name is Stuart Fullerton, and I serve as the Junior Development Officer for the London Volleyball Association (LVA), the primary governing body for volleyball in London. Our mission at LVA is to foster the growth and promotion of volleyball across the London region through volunteer efforts.

We plan to enter two teams each in the U19 and U17 divisions at the Cornacchia World Cup 2025 in Italy, totalling 24 players and 4 coaches. Our aim is to raise £15,000 to cover essential expenses including tournament fees, travel, and accommodation. Following the pandemic, we've witnessed a remarkable surge in interest among young athletes in London, and indeed across the UK, choosing volleyball as their preferred sport. This surge has led to the emergence of talented young players capable of competing at an international level.

Not all of these promising athletes have a straightforward journey to international competition. Many of our junior players encounter barriers, whether it's families unable to afford the associated costs or belonging to smaller volleyball clubs lacking the necessary financial resources.

As a former England International player, I know the importance of competing at high level international events, whether representing one's club or country. It greatly influences the confidence, personal and social growth of our junior players. Our aim is to ensure that every talented young Londoner, irrespective of their social background, has the chance to showcase their skills at an international level and proudly represent their country.
