Help get Linda and Migizi to Paris!

Tribal elder and veteran, Linda Woods, has been invited to bring herself and Migizi, her woman's Eagle Staff, to Paris, France in June 2019 for the 75th anniversary of D Day and the Battle of Normandy. Linda first turned down the offer due to the cost and the local organizers do not have the funds to bring her. Those of us who support female veterans are doing this fundraiser on her behalf because we know she wants to attend and bring Migizi to bless those in attendance. By doing so, she will be representing all of Indian Country and all Native veterans and will hold space for the many, many Natives who served during D Day/Normandy.

Linda recently turned 76 years old and also needs a travel companion to assist her on this long trek to Paris. The money will be used for airfare, baggage fees, lodging and meals for Linda and her son who will be traveling from Michigan. The funds are needed by mid-May.
