Help get Jimmy a wheel chair

PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ

On Wednesday afternoon  after our afternoon session with the ADF girls we noticed a young boy in a wheel chair with his mum sitting next to him watching us. We went over to say hello and it turns out that the wheel chair was only very new.

6 year old Jimmy has recently been diagnosed with perthes disease ( 1 in 25000 ) which pretty much means the top of his thigh bone is deteriorating from lack of blood flow. This means that Jimmy  will be in a wheel chair until the blood circulation is regenerated  which could  take up to 12months or more.

Having just won his schools cross country last year, being a kid that loves sport dominated at his first ever Muay Thai comp, you can imagine how hard this has been on him and his family.  It’s our goal to get Jimmy a good wheel chair, hopefully that he can go off road with so he can still get out and about with his parents and can continue to have a active lifestyle as he can while his hip regenerates.

The smallest donation will go such a long way to helping us reach our goal and I truly appreciate every little bit. This money will go straight to Jimmys parents Fiona and John to help with getting him a wheel chair and if we were able to raise more then that would go towards any medical costs and just to help them out in general.

Once jimmy has finished with the wheel chair there parents will be donating to someone else in there situation.
