On November 18 Ghost was sitting on the landing, top of the stairs saw a couple of neighborhood dogs going for their walk. He ran down the stairs,jumped up and managed to open the door and out he went, just as he got out a car came zipping around the corner and he got hit. After taking him to the emergency vet and getting X-rays he unfortunately ended up breaking his front leg. The total for that vet bill after the X-rays, medication, and a splint it was almost $2000. On December 3 we had to take him back to his vet to have more X-rays and a check up to see if it was healing the way it should be but unfortunately after looking over the new set of X-rays it is determined that he actually has two broken bones in his leg and will require surgery as soon as possible to be able to save the leg. Today’s vet bill was $626.00 and the estimate cost for the surgery is between $3500-$5500. Anything helps and we are thankful for all donations
