Help Get Cynthia Off The Streets

Snohomish Mutual Aid and The Clearwater School are asking you to help get Cynthia a safe home.

This is Cynthia Starr. We need to raise $50,000 to buy a steel bodied used RV that has or can be fitted for a wheelchair lift.

Cynthia is stuck on the streets of Everett with a dead RV that is too old to fix. Cynthia has been the victim of many hate crimes. The RV has been targeted with rocks, bullets and chemicals.

Cynthia desperately needs a new used RV. Cynthia is very chemically sensitive and has special needs for living. Cynthia has had a very rough life but is a survivor. Cynthia has been a truck driver, mechanic, and is still very capable, but is now physically impaired. Cynthia is on Social Supplemental Income.

Right now Cynthia can't even get to the store or the mailbox. Nothing is working on the RV. Cynthia has been a part of the LGBTQIA+ community for many years, has volunteered at the Open-Door Clinic in Seattle and now really needs your help. Cynthia is 70 years old and living on the street without heat or air conditioning has been very difficult.

Ideally, we are seeking a donation of a used Bluebird Wanderlodge RV to Snohomish County Mutual Aid (Tax Deductible). We want to find one made between the years 1990 and 1994 or newer that we can retrofit for a wheelchair.
