Help get ARTAOS Gallery back on the Road!

ARTAOS is best known for our Mobile Art Gallery "the MAG". We began our journey in Taos, NM with this vintage 1979 Chevy truck that was formerly a movie prop truck.

ARTAOS mission is to expose as many people as possible to fine art and since 2016, we have successfully showcased artists, and hosted dozens of FREE "hands-on" art experiences in rural communities and major cities.

Earlier this year, our engine suffered a catastrophic failure, the camshaft snapped in two and the motor has seized. Basically, we need to raise funds for a complete new engine!

Bad news from our mechanic :-)

The MAG has been well maintained but let's face it, it's a 40 year old truck. The estimated cost of a refurbished Chevy 350 short block engine and labor will run us close to $7000 USD.

We have already invested thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours in renovations on the interior with oak flooring, steps, insulation and LED lighting so buying a new truck would put us back to square one.

We have put so much love into making this vehicle the best it can be!

2020 was the first year we weren't out and about every weekend due to the Covid 19 pandemic. This impacted ARTAOS financially and drained us of our savings making this even harder for us to recover. We were already planning this year's MAG schedule and were looking forward to representing artists in the Rocky Mountain region, some of whom have never shown their artwork in a gallery before.

The sooner we can raise these funds, the sooner we can hit the road providing art opportunities and experiences for Colorado artists, communities and art lovers!

We bring art to people. People enjoy this.

ARTAOS is a for-profit business with a non-profit heart. In the past 5 years, we have participated in numerous community based events that enrich our communities and the lives of those who live there.

Once our funding goal has been reached, we will be creating a special limited edition serigraph by the Artist FORGE to send to our supporters no matter how much you can donate.

We know these are hard times, we are blessed to be able have a method to support ourselves when everything is working.

Together, with your help, we can become sustainable again and work towards a brighter future for everyone!

Thank you,

Jason Rodriguez, Founder, ARTAOS Gallery
