Help get a insulin pump for Grace

Hi our niece Grace is only 11, a few years ago she was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. As time has gone on she has had many hypoglycaemic attacks and is at risk of going into a diabetic coma at any time. She has to have set meal times at specific hours otherwise her sugar levels will drop to a dangerously low number. She has visited the dietician and is on the highest recommended dose of insulin for her age, but it is now getting harder to control. She is recommended to have an insulin pump inserted. This would help her manage her blood sugar levels, get warnings when her sugar levels are low. It will also mean she won’t have to inject as much and and she could also tailer her meal times. Along with these factors and many more it will stop all the hypo attacks she keeps on having and she will hopefully start to enjoy her life a bit more.

The insulin pump she requires are £3000 and then an £1500 to get the relevant equipment for the pump to work. We are trying to raise the money so she can live her life as a normal child. Currently she does not meet the criteria on the NHS toget it for free for unknown reasons.
