<div>On the evening of Wednesday, February 18, 2026, my brother, Gerardo Lopez Jr., was walking home after his car unexpectedly stalled and wouldn’t start. Tragically, on his way home, he was struck by a vehicle and suffered life-threatening abdominal injuries and internal bleeding, as well as a broken leg. He was rushed to Valley Baptist Hospital and underwent several emergency surgeries. Thanks to the incredible work of medical staff and the grace of God, Gerardo is now in stable condition — but he has a long and difficult road to recovery ahead.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Gerardo is a loving husband and father of two beautiful daughters and the sole provider for his family. He had recently started a new job and unfortunately did not yet have health insurance at the time of the accident. As he focuses on healing, he is unable to work, which has left his family facing serious financial challenges.

</div>
<div>We’re reaching out to friends, family, and our community to ask for any help you can give. Your generous donations will go directly toward Gerardo’s medical expenses, ongoing treatments, and household needs as he recovers. Every contribution, no matter the amount, makes a difference and brings comfort to our family during this unimaginable time.

</div>
<div>From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your love, prayers, and support for Gerardo and his family.

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
