George is a sweet and loyal dog who has been part of my life since 2020, when my ex-husband and I adopted him from OPA Rescue during the COVID pandemic. Over the years, George has brought so much joy and comfort, but recently, his life has taken a difficult turn. After being returned to the rescue due to changes in our family and my demanding travel schedule, George has faced a lot of instability. He was boarded for a time, which caused him significant anxiety and, unfortunately, triggered the spread of a mast cell tumor around his abdomen.

Currently, I am fostering George whenever I am in Houston, doing my best to provide him with the love and care he needs. However, his health has declined, and he now urgently needs to see an oncologist and undergo surgery to remove the tumor. The funds raised will go directly toward his veterinary bills, including the surgery, post-operative care, and any follow-up treatments. Additionally, part of the support will help with his anxiety training and transitioning him into a new, stable home where he can finally feel safe and loved.
