<div>George, a proud Vietnam Veteran, and Mary, a retired 1st grade school teacher and local artist, have called Altadena home for over 46 years. Their cozy house was not just a building—it was a haven filled with memories, love, and irreplaceable treasures. Now, at 84 and 78 years old, they are facing the unimaginable: the loss of their home, their belongings, and the stability they worked so hard to build over a lifetime.

<div>Both George and Mary rely on walkers and live on a fixed income, making the road to recovery even more daunting. Despite their challenges, their resilience and enduring love for their community remain strong.

<div>George spent decades serving his country and community, and Mary has touched countless lives with her creativity and kindness. Now, <strong>they need our help to recover their lives from the ashes.</strong>
