<div>Although George has a current Oregon Driver’s License for hand controlled vehicles, he does not own a vehicle. To attend commission meetings, community events, and medical appointments, he relies entirely on public transit and paratransit services. Recent funding cuts have made those services unreliable and, at times, unavailable—putting his independence, his health, and his ability to serve the community at risk.
