Hi, my name is Renate, and I’m creating this GoFundMe for my sister and best friend Genita. She has been fighting for her life and could really use some help right now. What started as what we thought was a bad infection quickly turned into something much more serious. She’s recovering from double pneumonia and meningitis, and she’s also been diagnosed with a chronic lung condition that makes it hard for her to breathe and heal properly.

Right now, she’s staying with us while she goes through this difficult recovery. It’s been an emotional and physical battle, and she’s still facing an uncertain road ahead. Between hospital stays, follow-up appointments, and ongoing treatments, the mounting medical bills are overwhelming. She’s always been independent, working hard to cover her own expenses, taking care of everyone else but being out of work for an extended time has made things really tough. And now it’s time for us to take care of her.
