Please help me raise the funds to cover the vet bill for this very sweet, well natured 6yo female Shar Pei
This lovely little lass was surrendered to a vet hospital after being hit by a car on Tuesday evening (02/03/21). She sustained some minor wounds to her rear left leg and though she's been favouring her right hind leg and is clearly feeling very sore, X-rays have cleared her of any fractures to either of her rear limbs or pelvis.
She has also taken traumatic impact to the head and photos show that her pupils are fixed and dilated. She was assessed as completely blind on admission but seems to be recovering some of her vision - we'll learn more about how fully she'll recover in the coming few weeks.
She is only very small for a Shar Pei, weighing in at 17kg and is by no means underweight.

Her vet bill is currently up to $1300 and we're looking to raise the additional funds to cover the cost of desexing, vaccinations and microchip implant before we seek out her perfect forever family.
