<div>Thanks to your generosity during the last year, we have been able to support 8 musicians from Gaza and their families through some of the most challenging moments of their lives.

<div>Your support first allowed them to find refuge in Rafah, in southern Gaza, until their shelter was destroyed. Then, after their departure to Egypt, we were able, in collaboration with the PAUSE program (which supports artists and intellectuals in exile), to organize their arrival and settlement in France as of January 2025. This crucial step would never have been possible without your unwavering solidarity, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

<div>Since their arrival, Al Kamandjâti has supported them both in their daily lives — housing, administrative procedures, medical follow-up, school and daycare enrollment, French lessons — and in their artistic development: providing rehearsal and recording spaces, connecting them with cultural actors, and fostering collaborations with other artists.
</div>

<div>Their music has already been heard in over 80 concerts in France (Angers, Nantes, Paris, Marseille, Bordeaux, Metz, Cannes, Belle-Île, Trégunc, and many more), as well as in Italy and the Netherlands — and soon in Norway. <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f40XPiw4VIE" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Here is a short excerpt</a>.

<div>As this first year in France comes to an end, we are thrilled to share some great news: <strong>the PAUSE program has renewed its support for a second year, in 2026!</strong>
</div>
<div>This is a precious opportunity for these musicians to continue their lives and artistic work safely, knowing their families are protected. We also hope that in this new year we will be able to welcome other musicians and their families still trapped in Gaza, where the situation remains dire for the entire population.

<div><strong>To help cover their living expenses and support their integration, we are launching this new crowdfunding campaign. Once again, we hope we can count on your solidarity to provide these artists and their families with the best possible conditions for their second year in France.</strong>

<div>Depuis leur arrivée, Al Kamandjâti les accompagne à la fois dans leur quotidien — installation, démarches administratives, suivi médical et psychologique, inscriptions scolaires, cours de français — et dans leur parcours artistique : mise à disposition de lieux de répétition et l’enregistrement, rencontres avec des acteurs culturels, collaborations avec d’autres artistes. <div>Alors que cette première année en France touche à sa fin, une excellente nouvelle nous réjouit : le programme PAUSE a renouvelé son soutien pour une seconde année, en 2026 ! C’est une opportunité précieuse pour ces musiciens de poursuivre leur vie et leur travail  artistique en toute sécurité, en sachant leur famille à l’abri. Nous éspérons également pour cette nouvelle année pouvoir accueillir d’autres musiciens et leurs familles encore bloqués à Gaza, où la situation reste dramatique pour l’ensemble de la population.
