Help Enrique Replace Stolen Gardening Equipment

Enrique Gonzalez, is a neighborhood gardener in Glendale, CA, and he had his gardening equipment stolen in broad daylight on 2/23/21.  Enrique was 30 feet from his van cleaning up when he noticed the back of his van open and a dark blue Dodge Grand Caravan with a sliding side door pulled up alongside. He ran over to the blue van, leaned into the driver’s window (no one was there) and attempted to turn off the engine and grab the keys. The driver leaped from the back seat, grabbed onto Enrique’s arm and punched him in the face several times before throwing the van into reverse speeding 40 miles per hour down the hill while still firmly clutching onto Enrique’s arm.  

Enrique had to run alongside the van for dear life, and try not to fall or get run over, as neighbors watched in horror. He said he thought he was going to die. The vehicle came to an abrupt stop as it collided with several curbside garbage cans, knocking the gardener to the ground. The suspect's vehicle then fled driving forward, back up the street at 50-60 mph.  Meanwhile Enrique’s assistant was back up the hill at the crime scene attempting to place trash cans in the road to stop the oncoming speeding suspect’s van.  Of course, this did little to slow down the racing van as it flew right through the cans. That’s when one of the three low lives brandished a gun at the assistant.

Enrique thought he was going to get killed, but fortunately he only sustained minor injuries.  However, since Enrique needs his lawnmower, edger and other equipment to make a living as a gardener, we have started a gofundme page to help raise the money he will need to replace his gardening equipment and keep working to support his family.  Please help Enrique.
