Help Garbanzo fight for his life!

We found little abandoned 5-week-old Garbanzo (Banzo for short) on the side of the road and took him in. We noticed he had a wobbly back leg, so we immediately brought him to a vet. The amazing vets and vet techs at ABQ Pet Care took great care of Banzo and took some x-rays, eventually telling us that both of his back legs were broken. He’s only 1lb, so an injury like this could have happened by someone just stepping on him. He’s a little miracle, though; he is somehow walking on his legs and has such a will to live. After talking to an orthopedic surgeon at VCA Animal Hospital, we found out he may have a couple of fractures in his pelvic bone as well, and he’s going to need extensive care. The surgery could be up to $5,000. We need your help to save little Banzo’s life. Any money raised over what is needed for his care will be donated directly to the Albuquerque Humane Society.
