Help fight cancer and save a baby

Galina Klyuchenko is a young woman with a wonderful family: beloved, hardworking husband Vitaly and two kids - Karolina (11 years old) and Vitaly (8 years old). Galina was very happy to find out that they are expecting their third child and now she is past her 20th week of pregnancy. A few weeks ago, this young, growing family was shaken by a chilling diagnosis: Galina has an aggressive form of breast cancer.
Breast cancer can be treated during pregnancy in 25 developed countries. Unfortunately, in Ukraine, where Galina and her family lives, this is not the case. There, she is offered only one option: abortion and only then cancer treatment. Galina and her husband are not taking this route because they are Christians and consider their unborn child a precious gift from God that must be cherished and protected. However, passively waiting for the birth of the child and doing nothing about her breast cancer is a very dangerous and risky proposition.
Fortunately, a German clinic agreed to treat Galina without interfering with her pregnancy. Just the initial phase of her cancer treatment (surgical intervention) is estimated to cost around €8,000 ($10,000). After giving birth, Galina will have to undergo costly chemotherapy treatment. Such expenditures are simply out of reach for a typical Ukrainian family like Klyuchenkos.
Please, help Galina and her family raise the funds they so desperately and urgently need. Even your smallest donation may give her a chance to live.

P.S.: I personally know Galina from my childhood and want to help out any way I can. Since I am in US, it's logistically easier to set up this campaign from my end. I have the ability to send free international wire transfers and I will channel all the funds received to Galina's newly set up USD account in Ukraine on a weekly basis.
Once Galina raises enough money for initial treatment, she will be able to schedule the surgery and arrange for travel. I will keep everyone posted as soon as more details on subsequent treatments become available.
