My son, Gabe 'Damon' White, was physically assaulted on February 1st in Florence, Alabama. He has a Traumatic Brain Injury. He suffered a brain bleed, multiple fractures in his face, and had to be airlifted to UAB to the Neuro ICU for treatment.

He will need months of cognitive therapy, physical therapy, and adaptive equipment. (He can't even stand alone to shower without dizziness and possibly falling.)

His facial fractures will need surgery once they are set. The docs say it will be 14,000 or more for just that. He is already in the thousands with his medical bills from this.

He will be unable to go back to work until this is completed and will not have an income. He has rent, bills, and food to pay for until his doctors release him to even light duty. As of now, he can't has no short term memory functions and is imbalanced. These will take time to heal.

He does not have insurance. In the assault, he was also robbed of his wallet, ID, and the money from his last paycheck.

Any help would be appreciated for his road to recovery.

He has already been through so much trauma in the last 7 years (Category 5 hurricane, murder of his sister, etc.), and he is a survivor.
