Help Funky SX build a training studio

Funky SX 103.7FM is a 100% volunteer run community radio station based in Southend-on-Sea catering for the young of the area giving them broadcasting opportunities and training.
We launched the station back in 2016 with help from 'The peoples millions', and have since then stood on our own 2 feet running on donations, volunteer help and advertising income. But equipment is now getting old and worn.
Since the Covid-19 pandemic we have lost the majority of our regular local business support and contra deals that keep us functioning.
We also lost our existing studio due to the Landlord selling the space to another, so our new premises needs work doing to it and equipment added for a training area.
Funky SX DJs Shelli, Jolie, Kerris and Funky SX listener Kelly are all taking part in a 7k run based on farmland with mud, woods, lakes & fields to raise money for their community radio station.
The challenge will include a combination obstacle including 20’ free-fall Deathslide, 15 lane Zip-Wire into water, 120 metre permanent steel Gorilla Bars & 4 story deep underground secret Nuclear Bunker – All on a Sunday Morning!! The race take place on October 4th 2020…

The following training area is important to keep our community service going:
We are in need of new equipment for our proposed training area to help improve our output to our listeners, enable our hard working volunteers the opportunity to improve their skills on equipment that is not broken, damaged or faulty.
This training area will develop skills of the volunteer teams and provide a platform for the young to express and improve their lives via learning broadcasting abilities.
This will enable productions to be created and be delivered to the local community via the radio platform.
Please help us to keep in providing the community radio programmings and opportunities that we have done for the last 5 years.
