Help funding New Marigold's school, Nepal

Heya!

My name's Billy and I'm raising funds for a Nepali school that's currently under development.

Since it isn't funded by government, New Marigold School needs financial support when it comes to construction materials and school supplies.

The story of New Marigold School is one of hope, education, and opportunity. Located in the remote village of Chiti, Lamjung, this school is envisioned as a place where children can learn and play freely, without the burden of financial barriers. The project is led by Shamser, a dedicated local man with a deep passion for education. Having already built another school in Nepal and delivered a TED Talk about his mission to promote non-violent, accessible learning, Shamser is committed to making quality education available to all.

As I discussed with Shamser recently, here are some numbers :

-- 1 student needs eight to nine books

-- With the current budget objective, 1350 books will be donated

-- Whatever money is leftover or in excess will go into construction related works

Here are some facts about the school (from my perspective) :

-- When I was here in November 2024, I helped dig one of the first holes for a new four story faculty and got to see how big of a project this would be

-- This faculty is now (February 2025) already three stories high and is on its way to become functional.
