Help fund the Veterans Moving Forward Association

Hello, my name is Dan Carcione, and I am the President and co-founder of the Veterans Moving Forward Association. The VMFA is a non-profit organization established by veterans dedicated to reducing veteran suicide through entertaining and educational events held around the Philadelphia region. Everyone who has served in the military has experienced the pain from the loss of camaraderie and the alienation of returning to civilian life. The free events VMFA hosts will provide veterans the opportunity to create new social support networks while also avoiding social isolation.

VMFA has already begun hosting events; we held an ax-throwing on NYE so no veteran would ring in the new year alone. Our next event will be bowling, hosted on February 19th. With your help, we can begin hosting consistent monthly (and potentially weekly) events that will promote new friendships and personal/professional growth at no cost to our members.

Donations made to VMFA will help us become legally and financially compliant as a 501(c)(3) non-profit. However, we are awaiting the official designation, and contributions will not be considered tax-exempt. Any donation amount is greatly appreciated and will help veterans in Philadelphia find new purpose and direction in life. Note that myself and the other founders will not benefit from donations personally, and all financial information will be publicly disclosed upon acceptance of our 501(c)(3) status.
