Help fund the School of Critical Arts

 

 

 

 

The School of Critical Arts (SCA) offers courses and evening lectures in art, philosophy, and culture & theory. Our focus is on small face-to-face classes, which allows for the critical discussion of ideas, artwork, and culture, as well as paying attention to everyday issues in order to help students to develop their thinking in collaboration with others.

 

The SCA is a non-accredited not-for-profit school, and this means funds raised are spent solely on rent, administrative costs, and paying teaching staff. While some of our students can afford to pay to attend our courses, we will always make available the option to attend for free. In 2021, we have already run two courses with a mixture of fee-paying and fully funded students, and two free evening lectures. The SCA is running a further three courses and three evening lectures in the final months of 2021.

 

 

 

 

In late 2021 we will be circulating an EOI to gather applications for courses running in 2022. For this reason, we are asking for donations in order to ensure that we can run specialist courses, keep class sizes reasonable, and to ensure that staff are paid for their teaching time.

 

Any donation, no matter how small, will help us in our mission to create a space for the community to engage in dialogue around philosophical, aesthetic, and cultural issues.
