It’s time to record JM 3
The songs are ready for my third album and in March I turn 33. So I’m starting a fun campaign with 3’s in mind to help fund the new record!
In the spirit of 3’s I will be recording in the organ trio format with the amazing Wil Blades on Hammond Organ and Terrence Higgins on drums. Alan Evans (Soulive) is going to help mix the record! It will feature some very special guests and hope to be released by the summer!

We are looking for 333 people to pledge $33 to help fund the new album. The investment will help to cover the studio costs, engineer, musicians, mixing, and mastering.
For pledging the $33 you will get all 3 of my albums (Both Sides, Slink, and JM3) Plus a special behind the scenes look into the recording process. Live updates as the album comes together and exclusive first access to the music before it is released. Plus your choice of one of two very special unreleased live recordings. One features the legend George Porter Jr and the other features the legend Melvin Seals. This live recording should be available by the end of the month. You are the SLINK ARMY and will be directly responsible for the creation of new music. The amount of love will be fused into the fabric of these songs and into the record. You are making new music happen!!!!

I’m also looking for 33 people to pledge $333 for an executive producer role that will help cover the costs of manufacturing and promotion. This is a VIP experience to help with a crucial part of the process that was missing in my last CD “Slink”
I learned that no matter how great a collection of songs are if there is not a push on marketing the record no one is going to pay any attention to it. This step will help get the music onto the radio and into press publications for review.
For pledging / executive producing $333 you will not only get all 3 albums and both unreleased live recordings but you will get a private solo acoustic concert at your house! I will come and play a set of music for you in your living room or place of choosing. Timing and details to be worked out between us based on tour routing and available dates.
While the 333 and 33 backers are the goal of this campaign feel free to support in any way you can. If you can only pledge $10 or $5 or a $1 every little bit helps. If you think you can pledge more than feel free to do so as well. I will build some custom perks to make it worth your investment. Also will accept one donor of $3333 to name the album after or put your picture on the cover of the CD.
I have created a gofundme page as an easy way to pledge but I am accepting the funds in a few different ways. The reason for doing this is that gofundme charges a small fee. While 2.9 percent does not seem like a lot. Over the course of 333 people donating I will be losing out on about a $1000 in fees.
So if you’d like to help in one of these new innovative ways than I really appreciate the extra effort in helping.
1. Pledge your support at a live show. I will take down your email and funds at any concert over the next month. Just show up and bring the $33 or $333 in person in cash or a check.
2. Venmo. Venmo does not charge any fee’s and is very fast and easy to use. Just message me your email and we can set up the funds to transfer that way.
3. Paypal through friends / family. This is another way to pledge your funds and it will not charge me a fee.
4. Regular mail. Message me your email and I can send my address. Mail the cash or a check and you are in!
While I will thank you a thousand times I can never thank you enough. So I will include all of your names in the liner notes of the album and bring the energy of your support into each and every performance of these songs.
