Help Fund Roo's Surgery

Donation protected

I have had Roo since he was 5 weeks old. He was rescued from a rural area of Oregon. Over the past year (He is 4 Years Old) he has been losing Strength in his back legs and his ability to walk/play. I noticed that he would stumble and it was very difficult for him to stand. Active days leave him hardly able to move and showing signs of obvious pain. I took him to UC Davis.. One of the world best animal hospitals for nerogenic issues. After an Xray they descovered a bony malformation in his neck that they want to confirm with an MRI as Wobblers Disease. This is a degenerative disease that compresses the nerves in the spinal canal cutting of sensation to areas behind the neck and can cause tremendous pain and paralization. Doctors told me that there is a treatment plan that has an 80 percent sucess rate that involves surgery. I am asking for help to raise 3 thousand dollars for an MRI to determine what type of surgical aprroach they will take, and 8,500 hundered for the surgery itself. I have been saving up as well and as soon as I have enough I will have updates. The dotor told me the sooner the surgery is done the better chance he can make a full recovery.  Roo is my best friend and is truely an amazing, loving, and loyal dog. We usto be able to hike in the mountains, go kayaking, run on the beach, and play fetch now I am affraid to cause him any pain and watching him trip and stumble breaks my heart.  I would appreciate the help of anyone willing to give him another chance to love, walk, run, fetch, swim, and wag pain free.  Thanks for your support.
