Help fund our Ukulele Program!

Great strides have been made in the development of the Keystone Academy music program. Starting from a box of teaching manuals, to a state of the art music classroom, complete with a smart board and various instruments to use and learn including recorders, we have come a long way. As we begin a new school year, we hope to continue this tradition of expanding the music program and enrich the lives of all students.
With that said, this year I hope to implement a brand new Ukulele program for 5th and 6th grades. To start the program, hopefully in January 2019, we will need to fund raise approximately $2000 in order to buy the necessary materials and instruments for one class to use at a time. If every student in grades K-6 donated $4 each, it will fund the entire program.
The $2000 quote includes 30 Makala brand soprano ukuleles, replacement strings, method books and CDs, and a ukulele rack to safely store the instruments.
Students and teachers all around the world (and in Madison Elementary - watch the video above!) are discovering  that the ukulele is an instrument that can be used as a useful tool to enrich students lives in the absence of an instrumental program. It is our hope to make this discovery for ourselves and further the development the Keystone Academy music program. Thanks for your donation and support!
