Hi friends, join us in making a difference by supporting a good cause! We are raising money for our nonprofit organization The Good Karma Los Angeles Org to build a Mobile Community Kitchen (Food Delivery Truck). Any donation you can help us with will make a huge impact!

Resources for the under privileged community tend to only exist during the day and only in specific parts of town so there is little to no support available at night, which is when they might need it the most.

The MISSION for Karma will be to deliver food on the streets at night when all the LA City & LA County food banks & shelters are closed and, in pockets of areas without enough resources.

ABOUT US - THE GOOD KARMA ORG

Growing up, my dad would always ask me if I had done my good karma for the day (one good deed) and once I grew up, I found myself asking the same question – “Have I done my good karma today?” So, one day in 2020, I decided to just buy an old milk delivery truck, transform it into a food truck and start serving food to my neighborhood unhoused communities in LA. Months of hard work later and through support from the community, we had built out a brand-new engine for the truck, new tires, and a freshly painted food truck.

What started out as a personal project has now turned into a non-profit organization that delivers food to several communities and community organizations in and around LA. Every Sunday, come rain or shine, you’ll find a group of volunteers in blue serving hot meals, snacks and water to those in need in Skid Row.

Over the past two years, with support from our amazing volunteers and donors, we’ve been able to serve 50k meals, 100k water bottles and many other resources such as snacks, socks, dog and cat food, blankets, tents, tarps, toys and books for children, etc.

We are a 100% non-profit dedicated to serving our community. In complete transparency, your donations will help us pay for the below costs –

Plumbing - $3,800

Electric - $3,800

Inside Covers & Cabinets (Durable Stainless Steel) - $9,000

Fire Suppression System (Safety) - $4,200

Swing Door - $2,600

Labor - $15,000

Insignia Inspections, and Health Department Plan Check - $2,500

Air Conditioner - $1800

Commercial Grade Kitchen (Propane, Exhaust, Generator, 2 x Stoves, 2 x Base Refrigerators, Deep Fryer, Griddle, Stand up Refrigerator, Vertical Boiler) - $26,850

We need aTOTAL of $60,000 to get build our Community Kitchen on the wheels and whatever you can donate will help us get started on this goal. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause!
