What is Othercon?
Othercon is the first ever annual 3-day virtual convention for members of the Otherkin, Therian, and general Alterhuman community.
The purpose of this convention is to provide a space where people within (and outside) of the community can come together to socialize, educate, and entertain for a fun-filled weekend!
This year it is on Aug 13th - 15th.
Why do you need funding?
While hosting the event on Discord is free, other quality-of-life improvements for the con cost money. These upkeep costs include domain and email, site hosting, upgraded schedule hosting, and giveaway prizes. Our goal will cover upkeep costs for the whole year.
Do I get anything for donating?
The first 10 people to donate at least $25 will receive a free 2021 con badge (shipping not included, unless we have money leftover). Badges will be distributed sometime between after the funding period and the weekend of the con.
