Help Fund New Writing!

Hi there! I'm Amy Nic, the co-writer of the brand new musical 'Three Of A Kind', a story exploring mental health, schizophrenia and the effects on family and loved ones. Our goal for this musical is to attempt to do what no other musical has done thus far and show mental health in all aspects, not just from one perspective or view. Furthermore, we want to change lives and challenge stigma by starting conversations with national audiences. We should also make people aware that talking about your problems or issues should be standard rather than holding them deep inside.

 

I have written the book for the musical, and my co-writer, Gregor Satti, has written the music and lyrics. We are both incredibly passionate about the project and have enormous hopes for its future!

 

For us to share this story with audiences, it needs workshopping. We have planned a workshop in London, from the 9th-14th May 2022, where we will be workshopping, rehearsing and developing the book of the musical. I am so grateful to be working with incredible choreographers, movement directors, dramaturgs and actors on this project, but of course; we need support.

 

It's essential to support new writing talent, creative talent and a meaningful cause. We are planning to raise awareness for schizophrenia throughout our process and hopefully partner with some charities that we can fundraise for once our show is up in front of audiences.

 

To me, it's imperative that we explore schizophrenia in all its realms; the workshop needs to happen for us to get this right.
