Help Fund My Research with Veterans

As many of you know, I am working on a Master's degree in Experimental Personality and Social Psychology focusing on Trauma.  I am currently working on my thesis which will center around redefining negative personality traits and maladaptive coping techniques in light of trauma, which means I am looking at the potentially positive outcomes or impacts of these classically deemed 'negative' traits and behaviors after trauma, specifically with combat veterans.  This research will set up a foundation to work towards understanding personality disorders and other negative traits as potentially self-protective and not disorders at all following traumas, and allow for the opportunity to build better treatments and therapies for those who have suffered trauma.  But in order to do this work, I need help with funding!  I am currently applying for grants to help, but they won't cover all costs and I am expected to cover the rest myself.  I could really use any and all help in this as money is tight being a grad student in general, and I really think this research is important and has monumental implications!  If you're curious, here are a few examples of what I would need to money for:

- Travel expenses to conduct in-person interviews with veterans
- Voice recorder for interview purposes
- Compensation for veterans to participate in my study ($ for their time and recall of traumatic experiences)
- Travel expenses to present my findings at the American Psychological Association and Midwest Psychological Association in San Francisco and Chicago
- General supplies for research (computer programs, school supplies needed, fees for measurement tools and literature)
- Fees to present research at conferences and applications for manuscript publications
- Reimbursement for research assistants (undergrad students who will help me with my research and compensation for their travel expenses)
- Funding for Pontiac Community Outreach (as a part of my research, I am also putting together a community outreach program focused on growth after trauma for veterans to give back to the veteran population I will be studying in the at-risk and underfunded area of Pontiac, MI)

These are just some of the areas, and as much as I would love to fund them all myself, tuition costs in general are not cheap!  If you can and are willing to help, it would be much appreciated!  Thank you all so much!
