My name is Murphy, and I'm a 21-year old trans man from Toronto starting this go fund me in hopes to quite literally get something off my chest!
I've been medically transitioning with testosterone for two years now and have decided that I am finally in a space to begin pursuing top surgery.

I've been medically transitioning with testosterone for two years now and have decided that I am finally in a space to begin pursuing top surgery.
For those who are unsure, top surgery is a gender-affirming surgery that will basically remove breast tissue and give me a much desired flat chest. The appearance of my chest has heightened my dysphoria since long before I began to transition. Dealing with gender dysphoria on a daily basis triggers social anxiety and depression. In order to combat this, I turned to chest binding which has also begun to affect my physical health.
While OHIP does cover the majority of this surgery I am now turning to you kind folks in order to cover some out of pocket costs!

-RENT/BILLS/FOOD DURING MY MONTH OF RECOVERY
-MEDICINE + SCAR TREATMENTS
