Help Fund Love, Me: A UVU Capstone Film

Hi, my name is Billie Voyles and I am the Producer for Love, Me, a UVU Student Capstone Film. We are raising funds for our production which is currently in development and goes into Pre-production on November 1st.

The Story:

Love, Me , Written and Directed by Rachel Bronson, follows Amber Lynn, an aspiring novelist whose struggling to write her first book. When her self-doubt becomes too much, Amber finds herself asking for help from her father, a renowned author whom she cut ties with years before.

Director's Vision Statement:

Love, Me is a deeply personal story, inspired by mine and my dad's shared love of writing and the emotional journey we experienced during his battle with cancer. Throughout this challenging time, I found myself navigating a whirlwind of emotions—fear, hope, anger, and vulnerability—and I sought an outlet to express these feelings. It was in this search for clarity and connection that Love, Me was born.

I want this film to explore the intricacies of relationships, the transformative power of forgiveness, and the profound impact that writing can have on our lives. Through the lens of our experiences, I want to highlight how words can become a bridge between broken hearts, allowing us to confront our past, embrace our vulnerabilities, and ultimately foster deeper connections. Love, Me is a testament to the resilience of love, reminding us that even in our darkest moments, writing can illuminate a path toward understanding and healing.
