Help Fund Lauren's Surgery

Hi all! This fundraiser was created by Lauren's friends and family to help fund her upcoming jaw surgery in March. She will be undergoing double jaw surgery in Dallas, Texas and getting total joint replacements.
In 2016, she was diagnosed with Idiopathic Condylar Resorption, and more specifically, Reactive Arthritis of the jaw joints. Her jaw joints have been eroding for the past 15 years or so, and she currently has less than 10% of what a healthy jaw joint should be. The impact of this has been challenging in all areas of her health, both mental and physical. The solution is to put in titanium prostheses which will hopefully provide long-term stability of her jaw, increased mobility, and lessened pain.
Lauren has been working towards this surgery since her diagnosis in 2016, and the specialists in California have all pointed her to the leading specialist in North America, who is located in Dallas, TX. After going through her insurance's appeal process to receive coverage out of state, she recently received news that coverage is being denied. Our goal is to step in and provide financial relief for the portion insurance is not covering.
As you all can imagine, this has been a challenging and emotional journey for Lauren and her family, and we created this fundraiser not only to assist with the medical expenses, but to bring support and prayers to Lauren during this time.
