<div>Feigenhain is launching a fundraising campaign to <strong>cover the cost of surgery</strong> for Júnior, a 28-year-old man from the state of Amapá in the Brazilian Amazon, and a member of the <strong>indigenous Karipuna</strong> community.
</div>
<div>Júnior suffers from an <strong>advanced inguinal hernia</strong>, which has now grown to a considerable size. It severely restricts his movement and prevents him from carrying out any physical effort.
</div>
<div>Having never attended school, <strong>Júnior cannot read or write</strong>. His only means of earning a living is through manual labour. His current condition prevents him from working normally, directly threatening his livelihood.
</div>
<div>His case cannot wait. Given the size of the hernia and the risk of acute complication, any delay in treatment could put <strong>his health — and potentially his life — at risk</strong>.
</div>
<div>This urgency is made all the more serious by where he lives: Júnior resides in a remote area with very limited access to specialist surgical care. Private treatment in Macapá is therefore the safest and most reliable option.
</div>
<div>The treatment covers: specialist consultation, pre-operative examinations, the surgical procedure, anaesthesia, hospital fees, and transport to Macapá.
</div>
<div>The fundraising target is €5,000, to cover medical costs and any unforeseen expenses related to his care.
</div>

</div>
<div>All expenditure will be carefully documented. Invoices and supporting documents will be kept by the association.
</div>
<div>Should any funds remain unused after the procedure, they will be directed towards support initiatives for the local community on the Uaçá indigenous territory, in keeping with Feigenhain's mission.

<div>The fundraiser Cassio de Figueiredo Azze is a founding member of <strong>Feigenhain - initiative humanitaire et environnementale</strong>, a non-governmental non-profit organisation <strong>registered in France </strong>(registration no. W133028431) and governed by the French Law of 1 July 1901. Feigenhain works in the fields of humanitarian aid, environmental protection, and the safeguarding of indigenous cultures, with a focus on Amazonia. <div>Júnior souffre d'une <strong>hernie inguinale avancée</strong>, aujourd'hui très volumineuse. Elle limite fortement ses mouvements et l'empêche de réaliser tout effort physique.

<div>N'ayant jamais été scolarisé, <strong>Júnior ne sait ni lire ni écrire</strong>. Ses seules possibilités de travail reposent sur des activités manuelles. Son état actuel l'empêche de travailler normalement et fragilise directement ses moyens de subsistance.

<div>Son cas ne peut pas attendre. Compte tenu du volume de la hernie et du risque de complication aiguë, <strong>tout retard de prise en charge pourrait mettre sa santé — voire sa vie — en danger</strong>.
</div>
<div>Cette urgence est renforcée par son lieu de vie : Júnior habite dans une zone éloignée, où l'accès rapide à une chirurgie spécialisée est très limité. Une prise en charge privée à Macapá représente donc l'option la plus sûre et la plus fiable.

<div>La prise en charge comprend : consultation spécialisée, examens préopératoires, intervention chirurgicale, anesthésie, frais hospitaliers et transport jusqu'à Macapá.
</div>
<div>L'objectif de la collecte est fixé à 5 000 €, afin de couvrir les frais médicaux et les éventuels imprévus liés à sa prise en charge.

</div>
<div>Toutes les dépenses feront l'objet d'un suivi précis. Les factures et justificatifs seront conservés par l'association.
</div>
<div>Si une partie des fonds n'est pas utilisée après l'intervention, le solde sera affecté à des actions de soutien à la communauté locale sur la terre indigène Uaçá, dans le respect des missions de Feigenhain.

<div>Júnior leidet an einem fortgeschrittenen Leistenbruch, der heute sehr groß ist. Er schränkt seine Bewegungsfähigkeit stark ein und macht jede körperliche Anstrengung unmöglich.

<div>Da Júnior nie zur Schule gegangen ist, kann er weder lesen noch schreiben. Seine einzige Möglichkeit, seinen Lebensunterhalt zu verdienen, ist körperliche Arbeit. Sein aktueller Zustand hindert ihn daran, normal zu arbeiten, und gefährdet damit direkt seine Lebensgrundlage.

<div>Sein Fall duldet keinen Aufschub. Aufgrund des Ausmaßes des Bruchs und des Risikos einer akuten Komplikation könnte eine verzögerte Behandlung seine Gesundheit — oder sogar sein Leben — gefährden.

<div>Diese Dringlichkeit wird durch seinen Wohnort noch verstärkt: Júnior lebt in einer abgelegenen Region, wo der schnelle Zugang zu spezialisierter chirurgischer Versorgung sehr begrenzt ist. Eine private Behandlung in Macapá ist daher die sicherste und zuverlässigste Option.

<div>Die Behandlung umfasst: Facharzttermin, präoperative Untersuchungen, den chirurgischen Eingriff, Anästhesie, Krankenhauskosten sowie den Transport nach Macapá.

<div>Das Spendenziel beträgt 5.000 €, um die medizinischen Kosten und mögliche unvorhergesehene Ausgaben zu decken.
