Help Fund JTO Boxing

Hey Everyone,
As some of you know, I have been taking boxing classes at a local gym with some friends of mine and a coach that I have gotten to know really well in the process, Coach JT, is looking to get his program started in his own space. Seeing how invested he is in helping others achieve their goals, I am doing whatever I can to help him achieve his own goal of opening a boxing gym.
I am bringing this to the public to see if you would please help him as well. He needs funding to get the space fixed up and to purchase equipment. He wants to hold multiple classes a week for all ages in his new gym, which will be maintained in the upstairs of my church, Family of Hope Church in Saugerties. JT has been coaching as a volunteer for the last year. After training under JT and learning more about him, I realized his true passion for not only the sport, but for the kids in the class; training them for better physical and mental health. Inspired by his passion and his desire to reach the youth of the area, Family of Hope Church has decided to partner with JT to help him get his program up and running.
Originally from Baltimore, Coach JT lost his father at a young age. Being raised by a single mother and living in a low-income environment caused JT to be confused and angry and lash out in school - getting into fights and eventually gravitating toward the sport of boxing in his teenage years.
Now he wants to share the years of knowledge he has learned about this sport. Boxing helped change his life and give him the confidence and control he needed. Coach JT strives to teach the fundamentals of boxing and be a good moral example for everyone he meets. With focus on expressing the value of hard work, respect, and bravery with the hopes of bettering individuals and the community at large. We aim to form an institution that can help people reap the benefits of all the positive things that the sport of boxing can offer.
We have allowed coach J.T. to utilize some of the space in our church with a one year lease. As a first time business owner he is in need of help to make some general repairs and to purchase the best equipment possible for the safety and success of the students. Your donation will assist many parts of this process, including: the repair of the ceiling, lights, painting of the space, the hardware to hang various bags and other exercise equipment, mirrors, signage, the construction of a regulation competition-style ring, along with promotion in the community. Promoting and marketing to especially reach at-risk youth.
We all recognize how money is sparse these days and not something to be frivolously handed out, however, we truly believe your donation could be a benefit to the lives of many people young and old. JT knows he could impact the community at large in a positive way, and any and all help and consideration is appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read and consider a donation to JTO BOXING.
