Gill-Our Mom's fight to beat CANCER

We feel very sad that we have to write this but here goes.......
In March 2017 Our Mom - Gill was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Since then she has been an unstoppable fighter! Mom had a stent fitted and chemo all within a week of diagnosis. Unfortunately she has had a few problems along the way with infections and then a replacement stent being fitted however she's still relentless with it all wearing a lovely smile on her face.
June 23rd came and we had the CT scan and results! The doctor told us the tumor had shrunk by a third also the liver metastasis. We were all crying with joy and that Moms was winning the battle! She kept saying it feels like an outer body experience. 2 days later mom had a fever and we were told she had pneumonia! She defeated that too.
Chemo number 2 out of 6 started. Sadly Mom got another infection and the hospital arranged another CT scan.
The dreaded results.... Unfortunately there are more liver metastasis and it looks like this round of chemo isn't working. The Gremlin as we call the 'C' word had got clever! On a positive note at least mom wasn't on Chemo 6 and we were told this news.
We heard about a specialist Oncology Clinic near Stuttgart called Hallwang. www.hallwang-clinic.com. We saw it in 2 magazines where British women were told that in England they could have no more treatment but at Hallwang they could help with specialist treatments of mixing chemotherapy and immunotherapy. Hallwang works with universities in Germany studying Gremlins and how they can put people into remission with pioneering new treatment. So we went to see Dr Nolting. He is so passionate and knowledgeable. Made mom feel totally comfortable and told her he would do everything he could to get her into remission. Without any look of pity on his face!
The treatment comes at a massive cost around £200,000. Mom will be having chemotherapy, immunotherapy, high dose vitamin C infusions, hyperbaric oxygen chamber treatments, Ozone therapy and much more. We have done loads of research and really believe that Hallwang can help
We know our Mom has touched many hearts along the way with her kindness and helpful nature and a true INSPIRATION to us 3 kids! We have decided to set the 'Go fund me' page up. Any donations would be really appreciated to help with the costs for Hallwang how small or large doesn't matter. Even if you don't donate please leave an upbeat positive message that we can go through with Mom and lift her spirits. We all remain positive and upbeat as a family that Mom can kick the Gremlin.
