<div>At the height of the coronavirus pandemic, my childhood friend and I, along with some doctors and surgeons, launched <a href="https://generationalhealthfoundation.org/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Generational Health Foundation</a> - a medical and surgical services non-profit organization based in Ghana.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We embarked on this journey at a moment when healthcare systems around the world were under immense pressure, and access to medical and surgical care was limited, particularly in our rural and most vulnerable communities in Ghana.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As a nonprofit organization, our mission is to provide a lifeline of hope for those most in need. We aim to offer 100 free surgeries annually to patients suffering from diseases such as goiter, hernia, uterine fibroids, superficial swellings, and other medical conditions that require surgical intervention as the only form of comprehensive treatment.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Over the last 24 months, we have raised $5,000+ in donations and impacted the lives of 200+ patients. Specifically, we completed 15 surgeries of varying complexity (100% success rate) and exclusively sponsored two community outreach programs where we screened 200 patients for medical conditions (like hernia, goiter, fibroids), HIV, Hepatitis B, malaria, diabetes, etc.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are grateful to all donors of the Generational Health Foundation for supporting us in our mission. However, there’s more work to do!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We hope that you continue to stand with us as we work toward building a <strong>Healthier</strong> future for this <strong>Generation</strong> and the next.
