Help fund Amber Hughes treatment

The truly devastating news of Amber's diagnosis has truly rocked the Hughes family. Amber had been unwell for about 6 weeks which lead her to being hospitalised and having an MRI which showed a brain mass. The next day she went to surgery for a brain biopsy and a shunt to drain fluid from her brain. Amber's tumor is on her brain stem and she was given the diagnosis of Diffuse Midline Glioma. This type of brain tumor is inoperable.

 

Since Amber's diagnosis she has been so strong and brave and always worried about everyone else. Anyone who is lucky engough to know Amber, would know she is vibrant, bubbly, fun and lives life to the fullest. She is certainly the Hughes family's little pocket rocket and their sassy little princess, always coming out with classic sayings and telling us how it is. She is the most generous and kind person and always sticking up for what she believes in.

 

The Hughes family is desperatly trying to find available trials and treatment for Amber to slow the tumor growth and in hope of all the amazing research being undertaken to find a cure for this horrible discease.

 

We need to raise money to assist with the significant costs associated with these types of trials.

 

The Hughes family have always supported their local community through business, sporting clubs and charities. By raising this money it will be a chance for our community to return the support to help this beautiful girl.
