<div>Sinkumunchis is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and public charity dedicated to providing access to football training for youth in native Quechua communities in the Peruvian Andes. These are often remote areas facing economic challenges, where opportunities for personal development and empowerment are limited. Our organization believes in the transformative power of football and sports to instill important life skills, foster teamwork, and build a sense of community. We teach football incorporating Quechua, the native language of Peru spoken by more than 3 million people in Peru and 10 million people worldwide.

<div>The Sinkumunchis Youth Ambassadors Program is an organization of high school students who are committed to helping Sinkumunchis achieve their mission of providing kids and young adults in Perú with access to soccer programs. We have established a goal of raising $30,000 which will help fund one of Sinkumunchis’ four soccer schools. Specifically, this funding will support the Huayllabamba schools which serve over 400 students in the Sacred Valley region of Cusco.

<div>Sinkumunchis has now opened 4 schools serving over 1,500 beneficiaries with their programs. With your support, Sinkumunchis provides access to these communities to ongoing football training, good quality sports equipment, access to tournaments and competitions, transportation and interdisciplinary programs such as welding, astronomy, English exchanges, and others.

<div>More than 40% of our students are women, aiming to leverage sports as a platform to transform their lives. In many native Quechua communities, being a woman comes with its unique set of challenges. Established gender norms often limit opportunities for girls and young women. Sinkumunchis places a special emphasis on the development of women's soccer in these communities, aiming to break down barriers and empower young females to overcome societal expectations. By providing a platform for girls to engage in sports, we are not only fostering physical well-being but also challenging stereotypes and promoting gender equality.

<div>Sinkumunchis’ programs consist of 10 months of intensive football training, where participants not only hone their athletic skills but also learn crucial life skills such as discipline, perseverance, and teamwork. To further their development, we organize tournaments, providing a chance for these young players to showcase their talents and continue their growth. These events not only serve as a celebration of their hard work but also as an opportunity to connect with other communities and share experiences.

<div>We take pride in the positive impact Sinkumunchis has on the well-being of our participants. According to two independent studies, children who participate in Sinkumunchis are twice as likely to "feel healthy" compared to their peers who don't have access to our programs. Additionally, a pre and post-study conducted in collaboration with Fulbright scholars demonstrated positive impacts across various well-being areas, including enhanced concentration and increased energy levels.
